Robart and Oakley, finalists for the League1 Ontario Awards

League1 Ontario recently announced the finalists for its year-end awards, and Guelph United has 2 players on the lists from which the Player of the Year winners will be decided.

Carter Robart, after a fantastic season which saw him record 7 clean sheets in 20 appearances, is one of the top 5 goalkeepers of the year, alongside Vaikla (Scrosoppi), Artemenko (Electric City), Maan (Simcoe County) and Murasiranwa (London).

Meanwhile, our captain Amardo Oakley got the nod for Defender of the Year, in a category in which the other finalists are Facchineri (Windsor), DiFeo (Scrosoppi), Earle (Simcoe County) and Higgins (Vaughan).
