League1 Ontario released the full schedules for the 2025 season. We can now confirm our Centennial Bowl openers will happen on May 20th for our women’s team, against Simcoe County Rovers, and on May 25th for the men, against Master’s FA, as part of a double-header with GUFC Women.

Guelph United announces today the signing of Canadian midfielder Lucas Spirkoski, and the promotion from our reserve squad of defenders Axel Koenig-Parris and Pero Bandula.

Guelph United has signed Swiss youth international keeper Leana Claude for the 2025 season. Claude has played professionally for Young Boys Frauen in her home country, and is currently a U Sports All Star.

GUFC has signed Irish keeper Jack Harrington for the 2025 season. Currently enrolled for Cape Breton University, Harrington last played for Amardo Oakley’s Irish First Division team Athlone Town.

Guelph United is happy to announce the signing of Canadian wing-back Emma Warren for the 2025 season. Emma spent the last 2 years playing for the Vermont Catamounts in US college soccer, and for North Toronto Nitros in L1O.

Guelph United re-signed the first three players for the 2025 women’s season: defender Alanna Starcevic, and midfielders Kate Knafelc and Violet Hipkin.

Guelph United signed English centre-back Luke Harrop, current League2 Ontario Defender of the Year, and former Leeds United and Bradford City youth prospect.

After announcing the re-signing of a few of our core players from the previous seasons, Guelph United is happy to reveal the first new player to join our team for 2025: defender Gianfranco Lopreiato.

Guelph United is happy to announce we re-signed two of our most important players of recent years, Cole Fernandez and Anthony Ostrun. We have also promoted Michael Andoga from the reserve squad.
