Guelph United signs French full-back Lilian Benjamin
Guelph United’s international contingent is growing. Today, we are happy to announce the signing of French full-back Lilian Benjamin.
Born in Pantin, France, just outside of Paris, Lilian began football playing for local clubs, before making a move to Wales, to play for the Football Class Academy, out of Cardiff.
Last summer, Lilian moved to Canada, to study at the University of Cape Breton, and has made 5 appearances with 2 goals for the Capers in U Sports this season. He will make his senior football debut with GUFC.
