Guelph United signed English centre-back Luke Harrop, current League2 Ontario Defender of the Year, and former Leeds United and Bradford City youth prospect.

After announcing the re-signing of a few of our core players from the previous seasons, Guelph United is happy to reveal the first new player to join our team for 2025: defender Gianfranco Lopreiato.

Guelph United’s off-season signings are off to a flying start, with the announcement that we’re bringing back Gray Yates for another year, and that Yuki Ibie and Jordan Rioux have been promoted from the reserve squad.

Guelph United is happy to announce that GM Keith Mason will take over men’s head coaching duties for the 2025 League1 Ontario season, following the departure of Justin Springer. Randy Ribeiro will serve as assistant coach, while also remaining head coach of the women’s team.
