GUFC signs goalkeeper Cassidy Joslin

Guelph United is happy to announce we have signed Canadian goalkeeper Cassidy Joslin for the 2025 season.

Hailing from Saskatoon, SK, Cassidy has had a stellar U Sports career for the Ottawa Gee-Gees. In the last 4 seasons, she played 35 matches for Ottawa, conceding a total of only 11 goals. The 2023-24 season was particularly impressive, after she allowed no goals throughout all 8 matches played in the regular season, and carried her team to the OUA championship. Among her U Sports career honors, Cassidy was named 2024 Second Team All Star, and 2 times U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian, in 2021 and 2023.

In 2024, she also made her club debut, in League1 Ontario, as the starting keeper of FC London. She had a spectacular season, helping her team finish in second place of L1O’s Premier Division and winning the L1 Cup, after playing in all of the team’s 22 matches, and conceding 21 goals.

I am thrilled to be joining Guelph United for this upcoming season. They are regular top competitors in this league, consistently pushing for success, and I am so excited to be apart of a group with such a clear vision and passion for the game. Looking forward to see what this talented squad can accomplish together!
