Guelph United re-signs Carter Robart and Harvey Marchant for 2024
Guelph United has signed 2 more players from our 2023 roster to new deals.
Carter Robart and Harvey Marchant will both be back at the Bowl for the 2024 League1 Ontario Premier Division season, joining the 4 players announced earlier this week, and new signing Jacob Cabral.
Carter Robart has been one of the best goalkeepers in the league in 2023. He started all 21 games played by Guelph United, keeping 7 clean sheets and conceding only 23 goals. He ended the season as a finalist for the Goalkeeper of the Year award in League1 Ontario, and also winning the Supporters Player of the Year trophy at the GUFC Awards event. He’s also been stellar for the Guelph Gryphons in U Sports, playing 22 games for them over 3 seasons, and also conceding only 23 goals.
Harvey Marchant is a familiar name to all our fans, as he was a staple in Guelph United’s defense in all our 3 years of existence. He played 37 games over the 3 seasons for us, and scored 1 goal; he also played for the Gryphons, amassing 35 appearances over 3 U Sports seasons.
