Guelph United, trying to keep undefeated streak alive

Your Guelph United is back in action at the Centennial Bowl, this afternoon at 5.30 PM, in an attempt to keep the season undefeated streak going.

Tickets for the match against St. Catharines Roma Wolves are available in our online shop, or at the gate.

Our men’s team is currently just outside of the playoff spots, but there is such a logjam in League1 Ontario’s standings, a win today would take United all the way up to a first-place tie.

Justin Springer’s squad, after a hard fought draw last week away to North Mississauga SC, is now facing one of the lower ranked teams of this season, St. Catharines Roma Wolves, who is currently occupying the 18th spot, with one win in 7 matches.

Marko Maletic (personal) and Parmpreet Johal (injured) are the only absences from today’s squad. With an attack that has been clicking really well, led by the duo of Milan Beader and Jared Agyemang, each with 4 goals scored this year, and with Camilo Vasconcelos on the heels of signing a development contract with CPL’s York United, that will see him be called up occasionally throughout the season, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic for a stellar offensive display today from your Guelph United.
