Royal City to Host Semi-Finals

October 27, 2021 Guelph, ON – After a long season, your Guelph United FC (10-2-0) finished in 1st place of the semi-professional soccer league for the League1 Ontario West division. The semifinals of playoffs will be hosted by GUFC at home and Guelph will face off against the 2019 title holders, and the second-place team in the East Division, Master FA (6-3-3). This match is not one to be missed as GUFC are determined to win and move on to finals.  Kick off is scheduled for 5 pm this Saturday, October 30th at the University of Guelphs Alumni Stadium.

Head Coach, Keith Mason exclaimed “It is a very exacting time for out club! Playing in our first ever League1 Ontario play off game [in our first season]. The boys have been excellent all year and now [they] need to stay focused. [We] play one more game and see where that takes us”. Coach Mason has faith that they boy can put up a good match and make their way to finals.

Be sure to come on out and celebrate pro-am soccer in the Royal City in Guelph United’s semi-final match up against Master FA. The first 250 fans to enter the event will receive a free Guelph United FC facemask and all Guelph United Merch will be on sale! All youth Guelph Soccer players wearing their team gear will gain free entry to the match. Ticket’s can be purchased online at guelphunitedfc.ca or on game day.
