GUFC re-signs Fernandez and Ostrun; promotes Andoga

Guelph United is happy to announce we re-signed two of our most important players of recent years, defender Cole Fernandez and midfielder Anthony Ostrun.

Fernandez has appeared in 53 matches for our senior team since 2021, becoming the 4th all-time Guelph United player to pass the 50-game mark, after Amardo Oakley, Jared Agyemang and Jack Sears. At the end of the 2023 season, Cole won the GUFC Player of the Year award.

Ostrun has also played for us since our inaugural season in 2021, amassing 49 appearances for the senior team.

Guelph United also announces the promotion of defender Michael Andoga from the Reserve team. Andoga has been with us since 2022, playing a total of 26 matches for our U19, U21 and Reserve teams, and also being called up for 2 appearances in the senior squad at the end of last season.
