GUFC inks Gianfranco Lopreiato as the first new signing for 2025
After announcing the re-signing of a few of our core players from the previous seasons, Guelph United is happy to reveal the first new player to join our team for 2025: defender Gianfranco Lopreiato.
A full-back hailing from Vaughan, ON, Gianfranco has been making waves at the U Sports level, becoming one of the most important players of the Guelph Gryphons, after playing every match of this most recent season, and contributing 4 assists.
He has also been with the Blue Devils FC reserve squad in League2 Ontario, appearing in 4 matches during the 2024 season. Gianfranco will be making his senior debut with Guelph United in 2025.
