What you need to know about today’s home match in Cambridge

Today marks the home debut of our men’s team in the 2024 season - with a caveat: our home for this first match is Oriental Park Field, in Cambridge, ON, home of our affiliate partner Oriental Sport Club.

So, while we wait to host you at the Centennial Bowl starting May 15th, here’s a quick FAQ about today’s match, in which we face Burlington SC, starting at 2 PM.

Where is Oriental Park Field?
This is the address of today’s stadium:
Oriental Sports Park
1054 Shellard Side Rd
Cambridge

What are the amenities at the stadium like? Is there seating?
Oriental Park Field has bleacher seating, as well as a VIP section. They also have a bar with a liquor license, and will be serving traditional Portuguese food, like bifanas.

Is the game included in the season tickets?
It sure is. If you’re a season ticket holder, just show up; if not, you can buy single game tickets here.

How about the free shuttle bus you promised?
Every Guelph United fan that wants to attend the game - not just season ticket holders - has the option of taking our free shuttle bus. We partnered with our 2 sponsor bars for the pickups and drop-offs, so why not come out early, have a pint and something to eat, then hop on and come watch us in Cambridge. Here’s the itinerary:

1.00 pm - pickup at Baker Street Station (43 Baker St.)
1.15 pm - pickup at The Fat Duck (210 Kortright Rd)
1.45 pm - arrival at Oriental Park
2.00 pm - GAME TIME
4.15 pm - departure from Oriental Park
4.45 pm - drop off at The Fat Duck
5.00 pm - drop off at Baker Street Station

I’d prefer to drive. Is there parking at the stadium?
Of course. Free parking is available at Oriental Park Field.

Is the game streamed live?
Unfortunately it is not; however, today’s women’s match against Alliance United will be shown live on YouTube.
