Guelph United Women signs Nova Scotia prospect Bryn Canning

GUFC Women has signed one of the best prospects in Nova Scotia women’s soccer, midfielder Bryn Canning.

Born in Antigonish, NS, Bryn has played her junior soccer for United Dartmouth FC. She has represented Nova Scotia at the Canada Games, where she was selected in the All-Star team, and she has been on the radar of Canada Soccer as well. Starting next autumn, she will join St. Francis Xavier University in her hometown, and will play for the X-Women in U Sports. But until then, she will get her first taste of senior soccer with Guelph United in League1 Ontario’s Premier Division.

I am really excited to have signed for Guelph United and am looking forward to competing in League1 Ontario. This league has proven to be a pathway for female players in Canada to reach the highest level of the game across the world. I am excited to be playing with and training alongside some great players in a high level training environment with fantastic coaching.
