Libby Brenneman re-signs with Guelph United for 2024 season

GUFC Women has re-signed goalkeeper Elizabeth Brenneman for the 2024 season.

Libby has been our starting goalkeeper for the last 2 years, logging 24 matches and 8 clean sheets in 2022 and 2023. She’ll have some serious competition this year, however, after Guelph United announced the signing of former Electric City FC keeper Breanne Carreiro, a League1 Ontario Goalkeeper of the Year finalist in 2023. Whoever ends up in goal, it looks like we’ll be in safe hands.

I can’t wait to continue to work alongside some of the best players in Ontario. We have proven we belong in the Premier Division and I know with the returning players and new signings to the club, we will be very competitive this season. Playing for a City like Guelph is incredible and I cannot wait to be back playing in front of our amazing fans!
