NCAA star Emma Warren signs with Guelph United

Guelph United is happy to announce the signing of Canadian wing-back Emma Warren for the 2025 season.

Warren, 19, spent the last 2 years playing at the highest level in NCAA, for one of the traditional soccer schools in the US, University of Vermont. After appearing in 9 matches in her first season with the Catamounts, the Erin, ON native became a regular starter in her sophomore year, playing all 18 matches, and recording 2 goals and 3 assists.

In 2024, during the college off-season, Emma played for North Toronto Nitros in League1 Ontario, logging 16 appearances and 4 goals.

Emma is a fantastic addition to our team for the 2025 season. She has established herself as a top player in League1 Ontario and we are all really excited for her to bring her services to Guelph United for the upcoming season. Emma is a dynamic wingback that is excellent on both sides of the ball. She is technically sound, has a big engine and can get forward and contribute in the attacking phase. I am confident that Emma will become an immediate fan favourite that the community of Guelph will love watching at the Bowl this summer
— Randy Ribeiro, GUFC Women Head Coach
